This gorgeously unique blue and cream dollhouse miniature patchwork quilt and matching pillows in was entirely handmade by me. The miniature quilt measures 7" by 5.5" (17 x 14.5cm) and fits a 12th scale double bed. Inside the quilt there is a foldable insert so you can drape the miniature quilt to better fit your dollhouse bed, as miniature patchwork is quite rigid otherwise. Two matching pillows are included.
No printed patchwork fabric here - this is the real deal. I hand sew each little patchwork piece together using the English paper piecing technique, then apply the tiny borders on the sewing machine. The smallest patches are 1/4" squares! This dollhouse quilt is backed with pretty, subtly patterned cream fabric.
This dollhouse quilt was made exactly as I would make a real-sized quilt, except on a much smaller scale. Many hours went into making it.
