This pretty duck egg green dollhouse miniature patchwork quilt and matching pillows was entirely hand-sewn by me. The miniature quilt measures 6" by 5" (15.5cm by 13cm) and fits a 12th scale single bed. It also works as a topper for a double bed (last quilt photo).
Inside the quilt there is a foldable insert so you can drape the miniature quilt to better fit your dollhouse bed, as miniature patchwork is quite rigid otherwise. Two matching pillows are included.
No printed patchwork fabric here - this is the real deal. I hand sew each little patchwork hexagon together using the English paper piecing technique. Each hexagon side measures half an inch. It is backed with white fabric. This dollhouse quilt was made exactly as I would make a real-sized quilt, except on a much smaller scale. Many hours went into making it.
