This rich red dollhouse miniature patchwork quilt was entirely hand-sewn by me. The miniature quilt measures 6" by 5.5" (15 x 13.5cm) and fits a 12th scale single bed. It can also work as a topper on a double bed if you don't mind no drape (see last photo).
Each little hexagon patch side measures a quarter of an inch. There is a foil insert inside the quilt so it can be folded to better drape over your dollhouse bed.
Included are two matching pillows filled with glass microbeads to help them sit more naturally.
I sewed each little patchwork hexagon together using the English paper piecing technique. It is backed with rich burgundy fabric. It was made exactly as I would make a real-sized quilt, except on a much smaller scale. Many hours went into making it.
