These miniature tutorials are suitable for somebody with very little sewing experience - so long as you can thread a needle, tie a knot and have a little patience, you can do this!

No sewing machine necessary, these a perfect little projects to curl up on the sofa with, or take with you when you're travelling.

Machine sewn mini patchwork patterns

For these you absolutely need a sewing machine. It doesn't need to be anything fancy, but I've found this technique to be the best way to sew long, thin strips in miniature.
